Allie Ortega, MS, LCGC

University of Utah Health Primary Childrens Hospital

Allie Ortega is a licensed and certified genetic counselor at University of Utah Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. She provides genetic counseling in the Medical Genetics and Cystic Fibrosis clinics, seeing a wide range of individuals with rare disease. She graduated with her Master's in Genetic Counseling from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas Prior to this role, Allie has a over ten years of experience as a genetic counselor in laboratory and clinical settings. Allie is passionate about providing genetic counseling services to patients with cystic fibrosis and improving access to genetic testing for this patient population through this role.
