Dr. Ditlev, Ph.D. joined the Research Institute of The Hospital for Sick Children Programs in Molecular Medicine and Cell & Systems Biology as a Scientist and the University of Toronto Department of Biochemistry as an Assistant Professor in 2019. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Calvin College in 2003. Following graduation, he worked as a research assistant in the Laboratory of Dr. Bin Tean Teh at the Van Andel Research Institute in Grand Rapids, MI. In 2012, he earned his Ph.D. at the University of Connecticut Health Center under the advisorship of Drs. Bruce Mayer and Les Loew. Dr. Ditlev was a Ruth L. Kirschstein postdoctoral fellow at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Howard Hughes Medical Institute under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Rosen.
