Dr. Kacie Kidd is board-certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and adolescent medicine with special interest in supporting LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults. She is the Medical Director of the WVU Medicine Children's Adolescent & Young Adult Multidisciplinary Clinic. She is also a health services researcher with numerous peer-reviewed publications in prestigious journals including Pediatrics, JAMA Pediatrics, and the Journal of Adolescent Medicine. Her work has been presented nationally and internationally and her current research is funded through the Health Equity Team Science Award through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development of the National Institutes of Health. She has collaborated with CF specialists for the last eight years on developing tools and recommendations to provide inclusive care for LGBTQIA+ individuals with CF.
