Rosara Bass, MD, MS

Nationwide Children's Hospital

Rosara Bass, MD, MS, is an attending pediatric gastroenterologist and physician nutrition specialist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and an assistant professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Bass has a longstanding clinical and research interest in the optimization of growth, nutritional status and gastrointestinal health of youth with CF.

Dr. Bass is a recipient of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Harry Shwachman Clinical Investigator Award and is currently studying factors associated with robust or minimal weight gain after initiation of highly effective CFTR modulator therapies. She also aims to improve the diagnostic assessment and targeted treatments of disordered gastric motility in PwCF using novel, non-invasive technologies. She is active in the clinical care of youth with CF, and a DIGEST awardee.
