Dr Iain Stewart (PhD, CStat). Iain is a data analyst and biostatistician working in the Margaret Turner Warwick Centre for Fibrosing Lung Disease, part of the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London, UK. He has a background in functional genomics and stem cell studies, risk monitoring at secondary health services, epidemiology of respiratory disease, as well as experience of large electronic healthcare data sources and multi-omic or biomarker data from clinical studies. His research is focussed on using analytics to understand the molecular pathways associated with the development and progression of fibrotic lung diseases. He is a Statistical Editor at Thorax, Deputy Editor at BMJ Open Respiratory Research, and statistician for the Cochrane Cystic Fibrosis Group.
