Liliya Kostyukevich, RCP, RRT

Lily Kostyukevich, a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) and registered respiratory therapist (RRT) in Sacramento CA.
I have been a RT at Sutter Medical Center for over 7 years. I began my career in the Emergency room and Adult ICU, before finding my true calling in Pediatrics, where I currently work today. About 3 yrs ago, I was asked to help cover at the Sutter Children’s Cystic Fibrosis Clinic and have been a part of the team ever since. Our CF Team is incredible and our patients are truly the sweetest. Before Respiratory, I was the oldest of 7 children and nannied for 10 years. Whether I wanted to or not, I was meant to work in Pediatrics. My ability to connect with young patients comes naturally, and I pride myself on keeping up with Gen Z slang—something I learn from both my younger brothers and pts. Staying current not only helps me remain “cool,”, but also allows me to communicate and motivate patients in a way they truly relate to. Outside of work, my biggest passion is my family and singing at my church in Sacramento.
