Cian Greaney

University of Limerick

Cian Greaney is a nutritionist and PhD Candidate in the School of Allied Health and Health Research Insititute at the University of Limerick in Ireland. Cian's doctoral research is funded through the Taighde Eireann (Research Ireland) Government of lreland Postgraduate Scholarship and combines quantitative analyses of dietary intakes, diet quality and patient-reported outcomes, with qualitative exploration of the dietary experiences and views of adults living with Cystic Fibrosis. He has published in leading journals, including the Journal of Cystic Fibrosis and the European Journal of Nutrition. In addition to his doctoral work, Cian has contributed to collaborative projects with Cystic Fibrosis Ireland, Health Research Charities Ireland, and the Health Research Board, gaining experience in public and patient involvement, stakeholder engagement, and applied public health nutrition.
