This session will explore nutritional considerations across a woman's lifecourse and as a person with CF. We will explore key nutrition topics, as noted in the session objectives, while providing a focus on the unique needs of specific age groupings.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain the factors impacting bone health for women with cystic fibrosis.
  • Assess nutritional considerations and counseling points for women with cystic fibrosis highlighting adolescence, childbearing years, and perimenopause/menopause.
  • Describe the role of estrogen in the lifecourse of people with cystic fibrosis.
