This session will provide information on how the respiratory care of people with CF may be impacted by comorbidities or other concerns, such as diabetes, mental wellness, lung transplant, and those who are not eligible for modulator therapy.
Each presentation will be built around one of the above comorbidities/concerns. There will be a discussion regarding risk factors, treatment strategies, resources, and disease prevention/health promotion efforts for people with CF.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand how disease co-morbidities or other concerns may impact the respiratory care of people with Cystic Fibrosis.
  • Describe how mental health can impact the overall care of people with Cystic Fibrosis
  • Discuss risk factors, treatment strategies, resources, and disease prevention/health promotion efforts for people with Cystic Fibrosis.
