With the advent of highly effective CFTR modulators (HEMT), the nutritional landscape of cystic fibrosis (CF) is rapidly evolving. This session untangles the complex interplay between pancreatic function, the gut microbiome, liver health, and nutrition interventions in the era of HEMT. From refining how we assess exocrine pancreatic sufficiency to understanding shifts in the CF diet-gut-lung and gut-liver axes and adapting nutrition care plans accordingly, these presentations aim to equip clinicians and researchers with the latest evidence and tools to deliver precise, personalized care. Emphasis will be placed on practical strategies to simplify and streamline nutrition support as clinical profiles shift under modulator therapy.
