Engaging the patient is only one part of the job in pediatric research and healthcare. Families play a critical role in study participation, treatment adherence, and patient well-being. This interactive Lunch and Learn session will explore best practices when interacting with pediatric patient families, from approaching them for research studies to ethical considerations and the emotional and logistical challenges caregivers face. You’ll share a meal and an enlightening discussion with other CF research team members, and walk away with new strategies and a full belly!
