This interactive workshop will delve into the complexities of managing patients with advanced Cystic Fibrosis who are not eligible for modulator therapy due to specific genetic mutations or contraindications. Recognizing the unique challenges this patient population faces, this session will provide a valuable platform for Physical Therapists & Respiratory Therapists to share best practices, explore innovative approaches, and discuss the latest evidence-based strategies to optimize their care.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discuss current best practices and evidence-based strategies for managing Cystic Fibrosis patients with advanced lung disease who are not eligible for modulator therapy.
  • Identify innovative approaches and challenges in the management of airway clearance, pulmonary rehabilitation, oxygen therapy, non-invasive ventilation, and palliative care for this specific patient population.
  • Apply learned principles and strategies to improve the care and quality of life for CF patients with advanced lung disease who are not modulator-eligible.
