Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center
John Brewington, MD, MS is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He is a pediatric pulmonologist and a physician-scientist with an interest in personalized medicine in Cystic Fibrosis and laboratory models of respiratory disease. The Brewington lab is a translational laboratory with expertise in individualized disease modeling, detection and functional analysis of CFTR, and modulation of rare and private CFTR variants. They manage a CFF-funded National Resource Center for the study and use of nasal cell-based models in clinical trials and to inform patient care. In addition, Dr. Brewington has a clinical focus on airways diseases, including CF, and flexible bronchoscopy, as well as training and education in bronchoscopy.
